Meeting the Family

When: After Jack gets bored looking for blowfish and is fed up with everything...day after his original Ianto's Deathday
Packed up in the SUV, the German shepherd puppy had plenty to play with and hardly looked up as Jack pulled out of the driveway. Yes, they were taking the car across the rift from Brokenverse into Ianto's universe because just showing up in Wales with a dog and a backpack of her essentials wasn't exactly normal. With a little help from some pilfered technology from the Hub, Jack had managed to amplify his wriststrap enough to make a vortex large enough to get the whole SUV through. He'd spent the morning testing it to be sure and glad that it was in working order, he and Ianto were headed towards the countryside to make their crossing.
He was perfectly willing and wanting to drive the full way. It had become increasingly important for Jack to be 'normal' and to have a life with Ianto that was just as normal even with everything else considered.
"You look nervous. Don't be. I'm sure it will go fine."
